Welcome

Daniel's Weeks

(A) This is the time of Israel's captivity which lasted 70 years.

(B) At this point (from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem) two clocks began to run.
      1. The period of the 70 weeks determined upon the people and the city (Jerusalem). Dan. 9: 24
      2. The counting of time until the arrival of the Messiah (69 weeks). Dan. 9:25

(C) At this point another clock began to count-down, 62 weeks, until the Messiah was cut off, and the destruction of the city (Jerusalem). Dan. 9:26

(D) The arrival and death of the Messiah was separated by 5 days. This event begins with the only open public declaration of Jesus Christ as the Messiah and ends with the public rejection of Jesus as the Messiah, His crucifixion.
      1. This is the end of the 69th week of Daniel's vision.
      2. The Jews were "cut off and the Gentiles were grafted into their place.
      3. This concluded the first advent of Jesus Christ here on earth.

(E) This is an undetermined period of time spanning the gap between Daniel's 69th and 70th weeks.
      1. It is the period of the Church.
      2. It is the period of Israel's blindness.
      3. During this period God is not administering with Israel.

(F) This is Daniel's 70th week, Dan. 9:27. This week is further divided into two halves, the last half is the Great Tribulation period.

(G) This is the time of the second advent of Jesus Christ and Israel's redemption, and the setting up of the 1,000 year reign of the Messiah on earth. Israel's blindness will be remove and the will accept Jesus Christ as their Messiah. This will conclude the "Church" period, the end of this age.
